So when we purchased our lovely home with my lovely yard we were told that sometimes deer come through. Back in March I suspected something like deer ate my tulips, but didn't think much of it. Well, today when I went out to my car at 4:30pm to pick up a few things from the trunk I looked out to my side/back yard and lo and behold 3 deer! Lily was with me and she was SO EXCITED! The deer stared at us for a little bit and us them and when they started walking towards us we went in the house and to the back to get these lovely pictures. They ate stuff from my fruit trees to my slight distress, but luckily left my ground garden in tact! Fun end to my very busy, stressful Friday!

Deer in the Yard!
So when we purchased our lovely home with my lovely yard we were told that sometimes deer come through. Back in March I suspected something like deer ate my tulips, but didn't think much of it. I'm so sorry. No amount of pesticide you can put on your poor garden can save it from ravenous deer. Good luck!!

ReplyDeleteWow, I guess that is annoying that they eat your stuff, but SO COOL! Right there in front of you. Crazy.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA, Bean, I've seen hummingbirds, eagles, herons, woodpeckers, blue jays, mouse IN my house, but so far, no moose. I'll keep you posted! At this point I wouldn't be surprised. :)
